This is my beautiful client and her transformation over the course of seven months.
She signed up for the Myofascial Facial Release Series, which consists of eight 90 minute holistic facials that include 30 minutes of facial reflexology, and myofascial facial release. Targeted and customized to your specific needs.
She was concerned about forehead lines, the skin around her neck and jaw, and just overall sculpting, firming, and wanting to look her best.
What I noticed.
Jaw tightness and visible lower face compression.
Puffiness through cheeks and chin.
Mild facial asymmetry.
Dullness and slowed circulation.
Neck tension and shortened appearance through fascia.

What we did.
Facial Reflexology - The Nervous System: For 30 minutes, we stimulate specific neurological points on the face to move your body from Fight or Flight into Rest and Repair. When your nervous system calms, your facial muscles drop their defensive tension, leading to an immediate and lasting radiance.
Myofascial Release - The Structure: We work deep into the tissue to clear stagnant fluid (lymphatic drainage) and break up adhesions in the fascia. This is what creates the sculpted look. Softening and supporting, and releasing tension.

Each facial we focused on relaxing her nervous system by starting off with 30 minutes of facial reflexology. This is imperative to start with because not only does it reset any organ or body part that is off-line, needing balance or a reset, but it gently puts you in a meditative state. The facial reflexology works with your nervous system. putting you in a state or rest and repair.
When you are in a relaxed state you are better able to receive. With the myofascial facial release technique, I am reworking the facial adhesions that create lines, and tension. I am bringing in movement, energy, and blood flow to that area. Which then will help sculpt the face and give it a more natural lifted appearance over overtime.
This is just like working out, or eating right, to incorporate a drastic change compunded results yield the greatest change. That’s why I have the series as an eight part treatment.
Phase 1 Remodeling.
August to October we did eight 90 minute facials. While this is a three month period, it is realistic. With so many things going on especially during the start of the school year, we were able to squeeze in eight facials during those three months. Honestly, I love how slow and steady we took this approach. Here is where we layer the foundation. With the compounded facials sometimes one every week, it truly starts to make a impact.
Phase 2 Refinement
After her series of 8 was over, she continued to come in once a month for maintenance facials. We continued with the 90 minute myofascial release technique along with 30 minutes of facial reflexology. I incorporated red light during each treatment, focused on scalp massage, and chest and shoulder work. Each treatment was customized to her and what I felt she needed in that moment. Or what I felt needed more work and intention.
Each treatment builds upon the next, and as you can see seven months later, the results are speaking for themselves. It continues to refine and keep the results stable.

Why this works
I love this technique because it shows you your natural face and everything that it can achieve with intentional touch and sculpting movement that target your specific areas of concern.
If you’re looking for a natural alternative to well aging; that brings you radiance, vitality, contours, and sculpts, that does not disrupt your nervous system, the Myofascial Facial Release Series is for you.

This process is very calming and helps to bring you peace and relaxation in the process. This series is definitely for you if you want slow, somatic beauty work. That not only provides a holistic facelift, but creates an environment for your nervous system to begin to regulate and heal.
